Appointments: Arriving Late
Published: 20 December 2023 · Practice newsAs a GP Practice we are regularly reviewing how we consult with our patients to manage their health care needs most appropriately and safely.
As part of this review we have seen an increasing trend in both patients who fail to attend for their booked appointments as well as those patients who arrive late for a booked appointment.
From January 1st 2024 we have taken the decision that any patient who arrives late for their appointment will not be seen and will have to book the next available routine appointment. The only exception being if there are exceptional extenuating circumstances.
Please ensure you attend your appointment on time and take account of any factors which could impact upon your timely arrival here at the health centre.
